Sir Hotels is headed to Prague!

The newest addition to the Sir Hotels family and Sircle Collection's inaugural property in the historic city center, opening soon, will be situated near the picturesque Vltava River. Our boutique hotel will showcase 76 meticulously designed rooms, a delightful library, a, state-of-the-art fitness amenities, and the acclaimed Seven North restaurant.

What you’ll be doing with us:

As our Purchasing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in securing the goods and services essential for our hotel's preopening phase. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring timely delivery and upholding our high-quality standards. Working closely with various departments, you'll identify procurement needs and maintain meticulous inventory records.

Seeking out new suppliers, you'll skilfully negotiate terms and prices to optimise cost-efficiency while safeguarding quality. Handling purchase orders and shipment tracking, as our Purchasing Manager, you will adeptly manage any procurement hiccups that arise. Additionally, you'll assist in crafting procurement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and uphold company standards.

Your role extends to monitoring supplier performance, promptly addressing any concerns, and collaborating seamlessly with the wider finance department to maintain budgetary controls. 

• Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years in purchasing management, ideally in the hospitality industry or a similar environment.
  
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities with a proven track record of securing favorable terms and prices with suppliers.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier capabilities and performance metrics.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve procurement issues quickly and efficiently.
