Job description

Are you ready to lead our Guest Service Team while keeping an overview of all guest and service areas? As a Guest Service Supervisor at Max Brown 5th District, you will take responsibility for our Front Office team, the lobby, as well as bar and service operations. With your hands-on mentality, you ensure that guests enjoy a first-class experience across all areas of our hotel.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and plan schedules for the Guest Service team, including training and coaching.

  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes and provide excellent guest care.

  • Maintain oversight of the lobby and guest areas, including organization of seating, reception, and guest communication.

  • Support and coordinate bar and service operations, from beverage preparation to assisting with food service.

  • Hands-on approach: actively work in the bar, service, or lobby

  • Collaborate with other departments (Housekeeping, Kitchen, Management) to optimize daily operations.

  • Contribute creative ideas, respond to guest feedback, and continuously improve the overall guest experience.

Job requirements

What you bring:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Front Office or a similar role in the hospitality industry, with experience in or understanding of bar and service operations.

  • Fluent in German and English to provide excellent service to our international guests.

  • A warm, communicative, and solution-oriented personality with a passion for making guests happy.

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to supervise all guest service areas, including the lobby, bar, and service.

  • Hands-on mentality and flexibility, willing to learn new tasks across bar, service, and front desk.

  • Enthusiasm for hospitality and teamwork.

The monthly salary for a 40-hour week starts from EUR 2,263.00 gross/month, with potential increase depending on experience.
