In the role of Sales & Events Intern, you will be responsible for the support of the Sales and Group, Meeting & Events department in their daily activities. You will work from one of our hotels: Park Centraal Amsterdam.

This is what you're going to do

• Proactively identify and qualify new business leads within the corporate and MICE segments.

• Support the Group Sales Manager in executing sales activities to achieve revenue targets.

• Manage group and event inquiries from initial proposal through to contract signature.

• Coordinate stays for touring artists and production crews with the Entertainment & Leisure Sales Executive.

• Act as a key contact for event organizers, translating their requirements into seamless hotel arrangements.

• Hand over confirmed bookings to hotel operations teams and ensure all client preferences are clearly communicated.

• Maintain accurate client data and activity records in CRM and PMS systems.

• Support reporting, market research, and sales processes to improve overall sales effectiveness.

This is why you are the best candidate

To succeed in this role, we believe you should follow a Bachelor degree, preferably in Hotel or Event Management. You have excellent command of English in word and writing. You are available as of September 2026 for a minimum period of five months. It goes without saying that you have an affinity with hospitality, a strong desire to learn and grow. Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

This role is only available for candidates that are currently studying and need to complete an internship as part of his/her curriculum.

Compensations

• The internship compensation is € 750,- gross per month based on a fulltime internship.

• We offer a compensation in your housing costs of € 80 gross (fulltime) in case you have to move to Amsterdam for your internship.
