The Group, Meeting & Events Department is responsible for all group-, meeting- and events bookings in our hotels in The Netherlands. As you can imagine we have a big impact with our bookings in the hotel and of course to the revenues. We are always in contact with a lot of different departments and translating the wishes of our clients/guests towards the operational departments. 

This is what you're going to do

In this role you are going to use all your sales skills to organize the group meetings and events in Park Centraal The Hague. Our Booking Office is part of our HQ in Amsterdam and it's a vibrant department, but you will mainly work from Park Centraal The Hague. Through your work, you help bring people together in our beautiful spaces to create wonderful memories.

Tasks:

• Responsible for the management of all Group, Meeting, and Event business for the hotel.

• Provide commercial leadership and direction to GME Sales Coordinators.

• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers.

• Identify and target new business opportunities that contribute to your business segment.

• Pro-actively provide input for strategic account plans, commercial strategy and the annual sales-and activity plan.

• Accurate administration and control of all Groups, Conference & Events related reservations and blocks via Hotel PMS.

• Arrange and carry out hotel show rounds to support on prospections, conversion and account management.

• Live and communicate the brand mission, vision and values of each brand of Sircle Collection.

In combination with:

• Bachelor level and prior experience in Group, Meeting and Events.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a strong command of English.

• Dutch is a big plus (or any additional languages).

• You currently live in our around The Hague and you are eligible to work in the Netherlands, we unfortunately cannot provide sponsorship.
