An exciting opportunity for a passionate and proactive Assistant Finance Manager/Controller to join our regional Finance team in Vienna on a full-time basis. You will be a strong team player with excellent numerical and analytical skills, a very keen eye for detail and ability to communicate effectively.
Who Are You?
You are an energetic and enthusiastic person who is able to switch quickly between different projects and tasks. You are passionate about Finance and hospitality. You will be working in a high demanding environment. Taking initiative comes natural to you and you are highly solution-oriented. You love working independently and are at the same time able to keep the overview and make connections easily.
Strong background gained working within hotels and/or restaurants in the finance division;
Knowledge of the accounting system SAP is preferable;
Strong skills in Excel;
Solid organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
You are more than familiar with management systems for all accounting functions including purchase and sales ledger, payroll, cash and banking, nominal ledger and stocks
Solid knowledge of national and local tax regulations;
You have experience with creating account related reports, including commentary on results
To fully audit and reconcile all revenues posted via PMS to ensure all postings and revenue is captured and upload them into the bookkeeping system
To support the Regional Director of Finance in the daily running of the department including all accounting functions (creditor & debtor administration, income audit, booking of payroll & general ledger entries and cash control)
To produce monthly P&L including commentary on all material variances, ensuring the information is produced within agreed timescales and accurately;
To maintain strong accounting and operational environments to improve profitability and manage business risks;
Reconciliation of the balance sheet as part of month end processes e.g. fixed assets, inventory, bank, inter-company, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, reconciling and filing of VAT returns and purchasing control;
Preparation and processing journals at month end;
To supervise and work in close collaboration with the Other departments to ensure Company regulations and guidelines are applied;
To assist the Regional Director of Finance with budget, forecast and cash flow preparation;
To provide assistance by preparing the annual financial statements in compliance with Austrian reporting requirements;
To provide clear and timely information to internal and external contacts;
To strive for excellence by paying attention to detail.
Supervise the work of the finance team members across the region and participate in their development plan
To maintain and track the construction budget of the new projects as well as initiate payments to contractors within terms
To set up and implement financial policies and procedures for our new properties in compliance with Sircle standards and local tax and reporting regulation

Gross yearly salary: EUR 44,800
