In the role of Front of House manager, you are responsible for the overall success of the daily Front Office operation together with a dedicated team of Guest Service Managers and Front Office Agents. You naturally inspire your team members with your upbeat personality, and you find it important to create a positive and inclusive work environment where fun comes first. In this role you will report directly to the Hotel Manager with who you will constantly be looking for improvements, optimization and new ideas.

This is what you're going to do

• Lead and train the team by coordinating the activities of the front of house department, including: front desk, banqueting, minibar and room service
• Drive, plan and achieve departmental goals by applying latest trends in the market;
  
• Assist to monitor and handle guest complaints, and create pro-active planning to increase guest satisfaction scores;
  
• Interview & selection and training & development of employees;
  
• Flexibility to respond to different work situations (including scheduling);
  
• Working closely together with our housekeeping and maintenance team.

To succeed in this role, we believe you should have an MBO or Bachelors degree in Tourism or Hospitality and have at least 2 years of experience in a management position in the Hospitality Industry. We expect you to have an operational mind-set yet a creative mind, who drives innovative ideas to increase guest satisfaction and revenue. You also speak and write fluently in Dutch and English. It goes without saying that you are an inspiring manager who can make strategic decisions, has a helicopter view and is able to create and nurture a professional and inspiring environment to your guests and team.
