As a Financial Controller for our Holding, you will play a pivotal role in our finance team. Together with your fellow controllers, you will lead the team to new heights. You are responsible the final control on the profit and loss statement and the registered costs and revenues according to USALI / Dutch GAAP.

This is what you're going to do

• Take responsibility for (parts of) the financial administration and act as a sparring partner within the finance team.

• Guide, support and coordinate the finance team.

• Explain deviations and KPI’s to the stakeholders.

• Finalize monthly profit and loss statements, annual reports, and VAT declarations.

• Participate in audits conducted by our external accountants.

• Assist in budget preparation.

You are a pragmatic and hands-on finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You can take ownership where needed, but you also understand the importance of teamwork and flexibility. You communicate clearly, are comfortable working with stakeholders, and know how to prioritize in a fast-moving organization. 

Additionally, you bring:

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting ór equivalent experience.

• 1-2 years of experience as Financial Controller

• Fulltime availability.

• Proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus!).

• Willing to learn in a complex environment.

• Knowledge of working for a company with multiple BV’s is a plus.

To be eligible for this position, you must live in Amsterdam or within commutable disctance and be in possession of a valid work permit (if applicable). Sponsorship is unfortunately not possible.
