Finance Clerk (m/f/d) – Based in Vienna | Supporting Prague & New Openings | Czech-speaking

Job description

As we expand our portfolio across Central Europe, we are looking for a proactive and hands-on Finance Clerk to join our regional Finance team based in the 7th district of Vienna.

In this full-time role, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our properties, particularly for two exciting projects: our recently opened Seven North restaurant in Prague and the upcoming The Cover Membership Club in Vienna.

Who Are You?

 

  • Experienced in hotel and/or restaurant finance operations, including Income Control, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Inventory

  • Proficient in Excel and preferably experienced with SAP

  • Solid knowledge of Czech tax regulations and accounting principles

  • Organized, detailed oriented, and able to manage multiple task and deadlines effectively

  • Fluent in English with additional proficiency Czech and/or German

  • Eligible to work in Austria

  • Willing to travel occasionally to Prague to support on-site operations

 

Job requirements

Your Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Reconcile and post daily cash, card and bank payments

  • Manage Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts

  • Process invoices and employee travel expenses in compliance with internal policies and approval workflows

  • Generate monthly payment runs for each legal entity

  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and operational teams at Seven North and The Cover to resolve finance-related queries

  • Support the preparation of annual financial statements and assist with financial and tax audits

  • Contribute to month-end closings, including P&L preparation and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

  • Support the financial onboarding of The Cover project, including system setup and definition of policies and procedures

Gross yearly salary: EUR 38,000

Willingness to offer a higher salary depending on your professional experience and qualification
