Sales Manager - Select Hotels, Consortia & TMCs

Job description

Location: Europe-based (Remote/Flexible).

Reporting to: Group Director of Sales.

Role purpose:

As the commercial face of Sircle Collection, you will develop the Corporate and MICE segments for the "Select Hotels" portfolio. You will be the primary contact for Consortia partners (e.g., Amex, ABC/CCRA) and TMCs (e.g., CWT, BCD), ensuring our hotels are optimized within global travel programs and highly visible across agency networks.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management:

  • Develop and execute targeted sales action plans for Corporate and MICE segments to consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue budgets.

  • Proactively prospect local markets to identify new business opportunities while strengthening long-term relationships with existing key accounts.

  • Negotiate and extend contracted accounts in close coordination with Hotel Managers, Revenue, and Booking Office teams.

Global Distribution & RFP Leadership:

  • Lead the comprehensive annual RFP (Request for Proposal) process for all Consortia and TMC programs, ensuring 100% participation and competitive rate positioning across the portfolio.

  • Act as the primary liaison for major Consortia (e.g., Amex, ABC/CCRA) and TMCs (e.g., CWT, BCD), maintaining high visibility within global travel agency networks.

  • Perform regular audits of GDS (Global Distribution System) descriptions and monitor rate parity to ensure "Select Hotels" are accurately presented and bookable.

Commercial Guidance & Collaboration:

  • Provide essential commercial support and guidance to GME Coordinators and oversee the daily functional tasks of two Sales Interns based in Amsterdam.

  • Liaise with the Group Leisure & Lifestyle Manager to align strategies for the Leisure and Entertainment segments.

  • Drive cross-selling initiatives by providing high-quality leads to colleagues across the entire Sircle Collection.

Reporting & Tactical Alignment:

  • Generate detailed monthly dashboards tracking portfolio results, new client acquisitions, and sales activity.

  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM system and participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly commercial meetings.

  • Travel regularly to be onsite with hotel management teams across five cities to ensure tactical alignment and execute site inspections for partners

Job requirements

  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar hotel sales position is preferred.

  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of GDS distribution, LRA vs. NLRA, and Consortia "pay-to-play" mechanics.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English; ability to influence stakeholders remotely.

  • Languages: A second language (German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, or Greek) is a plus.

  • Mindset: Result-driven, adaptable, and proactive in identifying revenue opportunities.
