People & Culture Manager

As a People & Culture Manager, you will be integral to shaping a vibrant, inclusive, and international workplace culture that embodies our core Sircle Values: heartfelt service, creativity, ambition, and surprise. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Compliance with Labor Laws and Regulations: Stay informed about labor laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant and well-prepared for any changes.

  • Oversee payroll operations: by coordinating with external payroll providers, ensuring accurate processing of wages, taxes, and deductions, and addressing discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with the People and Culture team to maintain efficiency, compliance, and seamless workflows.

  • Excel in Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage budgeting and forecasting for People & Culture initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial goals.

  • Boost Team Well-Being and Real Connection: Organize engaging meetings, creative workshops, and fun events that spark real connections and keep the energy high. Create an environment where team members feel motivated, inspired, and always supported.

  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Provide expert guidance and support to managers and team members on People & Culture policies, procedures, and best practices. Be the go-to person for all People & Culture-related matters, helping navigate challenges with clarity and confidence.

  • Offer Expertise and Support on Compliance Matters: Advise hotel leads and line managers on labor laws, permits, health and safety regulations, and other team member-related issues to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

  • Implement Strategic People & Culture Projects: Drive and execute key People & Culture projects from Headquarters, ensuring they reflect our core values and meet our organizational objectives.

  • Utilize Data for Continuous Improvement: Conduct surveys, prepare HR reports, and analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.

  • Celebrate Every Moment That Matters: Plan and execute memorable celebrations for important occasions, such as birthdays, work anniversaries, and other milestones, ensuring every team member feels recognized and appreciated for their contributions.

  • Support Performance Management and Development: Assist managers in the performance appraisal process by providing tools and guidance for meaningful evaluations. Develop performance improvement plans that foster both personal and professional growth, aligning with our value of ambition.

  • Lead Learning and Development Initiatives: Create and facilitate innovative training programs, mentorship opportunities, and career development paths that encourage continuous learning and align with our organizational goals, highlighting our commitment to creativity and ambition.

  • Enhance Team Member Engagement: Lead initiatives that promote a dynamic workplace culture, aligned with our Sircle Values, to elevate team member satisfaction and engagement.

Job requirements

  • Strong knowledge of labor law, payroll, and personnel administration.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse personalities & to serve as a role model and maintain a positive work environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at building and maintaining relationships across all organizational levels.

  • Fluency in German and English.

  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • A creative problem-solver who brings fresh, innovative ideas to People & Culture practices.

  • Driven by ambition and dedicated to both personal and professional growth.
