In the role of Hotel Operations Manager, you are the end responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotel. You do this together with a dedicated group of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Maintenance colleagues. You naturally inspire your team members with your upbeat personality, and you find it important to create a positive and inclusive work environment. You will constantly be looking for improvements, optimization and new ideas. In this role, you will report directly to the Cluster General Manager of Park Centraal Hotels.

These are some responsibilities….

• Direct day-to-day operations of Park Centraal Den Haag.
• Proactively manage, coach and supervise all departments to maximize performances.
• Ensure the promotion and active communication of the vision, mission & values of the hotel brand.
• Responsible for a close working relationship with various HQ departments, such as People & Culture, Marketing, Finance and our Commercial team.
• Take responsibility and contribute to the operational plan & related budget in cooperation with the head office and GCM.
• Take ownership for P&L's with focus on Performance, Revenue, Cost Savings and Guest Satisfaction per hotel.
• Be a brand ambassador and example to the hotel and their staff at all times.
• Work closely with the commercial team, to ensure full compliance of the needs of Park Centraal Den Haag.
• Proactively manage, coach and supervise the Management Team to maximize the hotel’s performances.
• Execute Employee Satisfaction Programs/ initiatives as per company policy.
• Actively drive the recruitment and attract the industry’s best talent.
• Mentor, coach and develop team members that leads to retention and identify high potentials to ensure their succession.

Wow, you made it all the way to the bottom of the vacancy! My name is Olaf, Cluster General Manager Park Centraal Hotels. It’s almost 25 years since I started my career in this amazing industry and excited for many more years to come. I have taken various roles over the past years in commercial and operational positions including managerial roles and since 2008 with-in diverse leadership responsibilities from Operations Manager, Hotel Manager towards Cluster General Manager. In my current role, I now oversee the 2 Park Centraal Hotels from Sircle Collection. In the new Operations Manager of Park Centraal Den Haag, I hope to find an energetic team leader with a thorough eye for detail. I am truly excited to work together on maintaining Park Centraal’s high reputation and look forward for even more success!
