The Group, Meeting & Events Department is responsible for all group-, meeting- and events bookings in our hotels in The Netherlands. As you can imagine we have a big impact with our bookings in the hotel and of course to the revenues. We are always in contact with a lot of different departments and translating the wishes of our clients/guests towards the operational departments.

This is what you're going to do
In this role you are going to use all your sales skills to organize the groups, meetings and events for our lovely property Park Centraal Amsterdam, located next to Vondelpark. You will work closely with the Group, Meeting & Events Executive. Your office is the back office of the hotel and you can work from home 1 day a week (after your onboarding).
Create tailor made offers and quote prices.
Negotiate contracts.
Cooperate with the other commercial- and operational department.
Site inspections.
Taking care of a clear handover towards the onside operational teams.
Financial related tasks as preparing invoices, pro forma’s, commission handling etc.
Taking care of reporting with regards to conversion and revenues.
After sales calls and evaluations.
Building long-term relationships.
This is why you are the best candidate
The best candidate is a passionate, super commercial and enthusiastic sales person who loves to organize and to plan. You are a people’s person who can encourage guests for our hotels and want to make every event possible and unburden the guest. Besides that, it’s important that you have an eye for detail and think along and come with solutions. You’re not afraid to work under time pressure. People describe you as a detail oriented, organizational pro and you’re not afraid to share your opinion.
In combination with:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience in Hospitality is very helpful
High level of English is a must (speaking and writing), Dutch or any additional language is a big plus
Knowledge of Shiji PMS is a big bonus
Excellent social and communication skills
Team player, but certainly also capable of working independently.
