Job description

As we expand our hotel and restaurant portfolio in Central Europe, we are seeking a full-time Finance Assistant to support the financial operations primarily for our properties in the Czech Republic, with occasional assistance for our locations in Austria.

Who Are You?

You are an energetic and enthusiastic person who is able to switch quickly between different projects and tasks. You are passionate about Finance and hospitality. You will be working in a high demanding environment. Taking initiative comes natural to you and you are highly solution-oriented. You love working independently and are at the same time able to keep the overview and make connections easily.

 

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

  • English and Czech needs to be spoken and written fluently

  • Basic understanding of accounting processes and procedures

  • Solid knowledge in Czech tax regulations and accounting principles would be beneficial

  • Experience in using SAP is an advantage but full training will be provided

  • Attention to detail, Organizational and time-management skills 

Job requirements

To fully audit and reconcile all revenues posted via PMS to ensure all postings and revenue is captured and upload them into the bookkeeping system

  • To process incoming invoices and make sure they are compliant and approved. Resolve any queries with suppliers and contractors.

  • To generate monthly payment runs for each legal entity

  • To assist with financial and tax audits

  • To reconcile and post daily cash, card payments and bank payments

  • To maintain Accounts Receivable, making sure all debts are collected within terms.

  • To liaise with the partner hotels, colleagues and suppliers regarding queries, by telephone and email

  • To assist in the completion of month-end reporting, preparation of P&L and monthly balance sheet

  • Other ad-hoc duties

Gross yearly salary: EUR 35,000

Willingness to offer a higher salary depending on your professional experience and qualification.
