Why this vacancy is available

At Park Centraal Amsterdam, we aim to deliver the best hospitality experience that goes above and beyond. To make this happen, we are looking for your expertise! As our Hotel F&B Lead, you are responsible for all activities within the Hotel F&B department related to the preparation of dishes/beverages, and serving guests in the various outlets which are our Breakfast, Banqueting and Bar Claes. In addition, together with your supervisors, you will manage all F&B and kitchen staff. You will ensure that the right level of service is delivered every day with a motivated team! Our signature restaurant Momo is not part of your responsibility since this is managed by our colleagues from The Entourage Group.

This is what you're going to do

• You are on the floor and collaborate where needed, you have an eye for detail and know how to put this into practice.

• Leading by example, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

• Assisting with staff training and development to ensure high performance and team cohesion.

• Ensuring smooth daily operations, including managing shifts, delegating tasks, and solving problems on the go.

• Monitoring service standards and addressing guest feedback promptly and professionally.

• You monitor the financial result in relation to the set targets and adjust where necessary

• You are responsible for recruiting new F&B employees.

• You take care of administrative tasks like making rota's, accurately upkeeping the personnel file in our HR system, approving invoices etc

This is why you are the best candidate

To succeed in this role, we believe you should have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience of a F&B Supervisor role or similar role and your colleagues sees you as one of the seniors. Some knowledge on kitchen is preferable but not necessarily as long as you can be their leader. We expect you to have relevant knowledge of securing the F&B complies with all regulations, including sanitation and safety guidelines. It goes without saying that you have an affinity with hospitality, you are a natural and creative professional with good communication skills and know how to connect with different people and cultures. You are not afraid to make mistakes and would like to work in a young, ambitious and dynamic team.
