You lead with energy and precision in a fast-paced international environment where no day is ever the same. You keep the operation running smoothly, motivate your team to perform at their best and continuously look for ways to improve quality, efficiency and the overall guest experience. 

You understand the bigger picture and work closely together with the other heads of departments to deliver seamless hospitality from arrival to departure.

This is what you're going to do

• Lead the housekeeping department with confidence, structure and genuine care; 

• Inspire, coach and support your team while creating a positive and motivating work environment;

• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas consistently meet the highest quality and cleanliness standards; 

• Stay hands-on, organised and solution-oriented, even during busy operations; 

• Work closely together with front office, maintenance and F&B, because exceptional guest experiences are built together; 

• Monitor staffing, scheduling and productivity to maintain an efficient and well-balanced operation; 

• Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety for both guests and team members, creating an environment where everyone feels safe and comfortable; 

• Take ownership of departmental costs, stock management and operational performance, always looking for opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising quality; 

• Play an active role in HR processes, from recruitment and onboarding to development and retention, building a strong and future-proof team.

This is why you are the best candidate

To succeed in this role, we believe you should have at least 2 years of experience in a management position within housekeeping or hotel operations. We expect you to be highly organised, operationally strong and naturally focused on quality and detail. 

You know how to lead a diverse team with empathy and clarity, while maintaining high standards in a dynamic environment. You are proactive, flexible and able to make decisions with confidence. You communicate fluently in English, Dutch is a plus. 

It goes without saying that you are a hands-on manager with a strong sense of responsibility, an eye for detail and the ability to create a professional, efficient and inspiring environment for both guests and team members.
