This is what you're going to do

As Financial Planning & Analysis Economist, you will support management and various departments in financial planning, budgeting, investment analysis, and strategic research initiatives across the company’s portfolio and future projects. The role combines financial analysis, forecasting, valuation work, and presentation preparation, while supporting ongoing corporate and transactional processes.  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial planning models, operational forecasts, and long-term business projections. 

• Support budgeting process, including cash flow forecasting and financial performance analysis. 

• Prepare management presentations, research materials, and strategic reports for internal decision-making processes. 

• Draft investment memos, management summaries, and analytical reports for senior management and stakeholders. 

• Build and maintain valuation models and perform analysis of external and internal property valuations.

• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies across target markets and hospitality segments. 

• Prepare and manage Virtual Data Rooms (VDRs) for financing, acquisition, and transactional processes, while coordinating information flow with advisors and counterparties. 

• Support acquisition and development activities through financial analysis, underwriting support, due diligence coordination, and transaction-related processes. 

• Monitor hotel and real estate market trends in target cities to support strategic planning and portfolio growth initiatives.

This is why you are the best candidate

In this role it’s preferable that you have Real Estate and financial modelling skills. Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills are very important to succeed in this role. 

You are able to work independently and manage time efficiently and effectively. Working diligently with great attention to detail is how you work. Besides that, you are a team player with a resourceful attitude, and you show the willingness to work in an entrepreneurial environment and perform multiple office related tasks and an open-minded attitude towards learning new skills. 

In combination with:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge in RE development or Hotel Management. 

• Relevant working experience in real estate, revenue management or hotel management. Experience in hospitality real estate is considered a plus.

• Write or proofread English documents at a very good quality.

• Second European language is strongly desirable.

• Good communication skills in order to communicate, present, assert and speak to stakeholders.

• Strong research, and analytical skills. To be able to network in real estate sector, preferable in more than one European country.

• Project Management Skills.

• Experience with planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
