To keep breaking records and building strong relationships, we are looking for your expertise to make this happen! In the role of Sales & Events Intern, you will be responsible for the support of the Sales and Group, Meeting & Events department in their daily activities. You will work in our Headquarters in the city centre of Amsterdam but also from our hotels in Amsterdam and The Hague.

This is what you're going to do

• Together with your colleagues,you are responsible for retaining and increasing the revenue by recruiting and maintaining new and existing clients.

• Managing existing accounts (f.e. planning agenda, updating presentations, connectivity and parity issues, promotions, contracts, parity, etc.).

• Make guests enthusiastic about our hotels.

• Help the team in preparing the events.

• Update databases and reports and use reporting systems to monitor production, evaluating trends, new markets and business opportunities to increase the leisure business.

• Financially related tasks such as, preparing invoices, pro forma invoices, handling of commissions, etc.

• Coordinate assigned sales activities such as sales meetings, sales trips and site inspections.

• Prepare and send communication to clients, tour operators and travel agencies (contracted rates, offers, promotions) on a regular basis.

This is why you are the best candidate

To succeed in this role, we believe you should follow a Bachelor degree, preferably in Hotel management. You have excellent command of English in word and writing. You are available as of February 2026 for a minimum period of five months. It goes without saying that you have an affinity with hospitality, you are a natural and creative professional with good computer skills and know how to connect with different people and cultures. You are a star in organizing and planning.

This role is only available for candidates that are currently studying and need to complete an internship as part of his/her curriculum.

Compensations

• The internship compensation is € 750,- gross per month based on a fulltime internship.

• We offer a compensation in your housing costs of € 80 gross (fulltime) in case you have to move to Amsterdam for your internship.
