For our head office in the heart of Amsterdam and our 6 hotels in the Netherlands, we are looking for an experienced People & Culture Advisor who enjoys working in a dynamic company. As the first point of contact for all managers, you are at the core of our organization. With your strong HR knowledge, you are responsible for advising on complex people-related matters and you are the driving force behind different project.
What you will be doing
Proactively providing management advice to department heads and managers.
Leading new projects and ensuring successful execution together with the team. Examples: improvement of incentive plans, performance management, job descriptions.
Managing sickness absence processes: advising both managers and employees as a trusted partner and ensuring accurate administrative handling.
Ensure personnel administration is up to date and handling monthly payroll with ease.
Analyzing management reports and translating them into reliable and sustainable advice.

Because you are highly organized, you can easily switch between different projects and tasks. Your positivity and open mindset inspire your colleagues and get them excited about the ambitious plans of our People & Culture department. You are always ready to support your colleagues and are not afraid to tackle challenging cases. We have a close-knit and friendly team where collaboration is key, but you are also comfortable working independently on projects. We’re looking for a go-getter with a “can do” mentality who can finish projects within the specified timeline. Your base will be our head office in Amsterdam city center, but we work hybrid: both from home and from our hotels.
Bachelor’s degree level (HBO) in thinking and working ability.
At least 3 years of relevant experience within HR, preferably in Hospitality.
Ability to handle confidential information with care.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations (collective labor agreements / CLA).
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Affinity with the hospitality industry.
