What you will do:

DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB

Night Auditor in Sircle Collection reviews, finalizes, accounts, closes, and takes care of the hotel in the night hours and who makes the bases for the next day successful accomplishments. Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. The Night Auditor also reconciles all accounts, processes invoices and prepares paychecks. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage various tasks on a daily basis to provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly. Keep in mind that this position requires working in shifts on bank holidays, weekends, evenings, and nights. It also could include day shifts, if the operational activity was required.

Ultimately, you’ll ensure our building is safe, clean and inviting.

Main responsibilities:

•  Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations.

• Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies.

• Process invoices, post checks to vendors.

• Reconcile accounts.

• Balance the cash drawer and log receipts.

• Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts.

• Keep accurate financial records and ledgers.

• Help prepare for forecasts and audits.

• Degree in Hospitality, Turism or similar.

• Previous experience as an Night Auditor is required. | +3 years experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.

• Ability to communicate in Italian and English. Other languages is a plus (not necessary).

• An eye for detail.

• Good problem-solving skills.

• Strong customer service skills.

• The ability to multitask.

• Availability to work overnight.

• Be proactive, dynamic, and have a positive attitude.

• Have a ID, Code Fiscale, Social Security number, and a Italian bank account at the time of joining.
