Job description

We’re Sircle Collection – the Dutch lifestyle brand known for turning up the charm in Europe’s coolest neighbourhoods – and we’ve just opened Sir Devonshire Square, our first UK hotel located on the cusp of Shoreditch and the City. As we build our business, we’re seeking a confident, creative and enthusiastic Event Sales Executive who shares our passion for one-of- kind hospitality, and can translate this into driving and managing event bookings for the entire venue.

Your Role as Event Sales Executive: 

  • Manage a diverse pipeline of enquiries including corporate meetings, private and group dining, to full venue buyouts, ensuring bespoke proposals that reflect Sir Devonshire

  • Drive the "must-win" strategy for seasonal peaks, specifically focusing on corporate summer parties in the garden and festive Christmas events  

  • Actively prospect for new social and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) business through networking and local outreach.  

  • Lead charismatic site inspections and "show-rounds," showcasing the versatility of our terrace and public spaces

 

  • Liaise closely with the F&B and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless execution of all events, and manage the ‘handover’ process to fully communicate the client’s vision 

  • Have a finger on the pulse on the market and use your insights to boost performance and spark new ideas 

  • Represent Sir Devonshire Square with charm and professionalism at show arounds, meetings, events and industry gatherings 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Experience in a hotel events or similar commercial role, with a good understanding of the MICE segments 

  • Natural communicator with excellent spoken and written English 

  • A self-starter with positive energy, curiosity, and a track record of driving results 

  • Comfort in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities – flexibility is key!
