To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Clerk (m/f/d). In this role, you will be responsible for the accounting of our two Berlin properties, Max Brown Midtown and Benedict Göhrener Straße.

What you can expect

Financial Accounting

• Responsibility for day-to-day accounts payable and receivable bookkeeping

• Review, coding and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices

• Monitoring and reconciliation of open items

Payments

• Preparation and monitoring of payment transactions

• Bank reconciliations, cash register accounting, travel expense and credit card settlements

• Handling of dunning processes

Reporting & Compliance

• Preparation of advance sales tax returns

• Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)

• Assistance with accruals and closing activities

• Fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills

• Several years of professional experience in a comparable accounting position, preferably within the hospitality industry  

• Solid knowledge of German accounting standards

• Structured, reliable and detail-oriented working style
