Sircle Collection is coming to Milan in 2023! We’re opening our first Max Brown Hotel in Italy and we are looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to join our team. Opening in Q4 of 2023, this hotel will house 64 guest rooms in the city centre of Milan near Duemo.

About the role

You will join our team as Front of House Manager being part of our pre-opening team. This means that you will work closely with the General Manager to build the department according to Max Brown / Sircle Collection standards and will define all departmental operational procedures. When the hotel opens you will - together with a dedicated team of Front Office Agents - ensure a daily smooth Front of House operation. You naturally inspire your team members with your upbeat personality, and you find it important to create a positive and inclusive work environment where fun comes first. In this role you will report directly to the General Manager of the hotel with who you will constantly be looking for improvements, optimization and new ideas.

This is what you're going to do

• Set-up, train and lead the team by coordinating the activities of the Front of House.

• Attract the best talent in the industry and build your passionate team through a thorough selection process.

• Training and developing your team members.
• Create, plan, drive and achieve departmental goals by applying latest trends in the market.

• Assist to monitor and handle guest complaints, and create pro-active planning to increase guest satisfaction scores.

• Interview & selection to set up your team and then training & development of employees.

• Flexibility to respond to different work situations (including scheduling).

• Working closely together with our housekeeping and maintenance team.

To succeed in this role, we believe you should have a Bachelors degree in Tourism or Hospitality and have at least 2 years of experience in a management position in the Hospitality Industry. We expect you to have an operational mind-set yet a creative mind, who drives innovative ideas to increase guest satisfaction and revenue. Besides Italian you also speak and write in English fluently. It goes without saying that you are an inspiring manager who can make strategic decisions, has a helicopter view and is able to create and nurture a professional and inspiring environment to your guests and team.
