Sircle Collection is coming to London in 2024. We’re launching our first UK boutique hotel property and looking for an experienced Membership Manager to join our team and successfully bring our brand to a new market.

Opening in Q1 of 2024, the property will be located in Devonshire Square and will include 81 guest rooms, a signature restaurant, a gym, The Cover members’ club and a cocktail bar. The newest location will be part of Sircle Collections’ vibrant group of one-of-a-kind hotels, restaurants and bars in Europe's most interesting neighborhoods.

As Membership Manager, you’ll be joining our team to nurture and grow this unique property. In this role, you’ll be responsible for fulfilling our employee brand promise and embodying our brand values by providing heartfelt service, leading with creativity and ambition, and creating surprising experiences for our team, members and guests every step of the way.

About The Cover

Located in Sircle London, The Cover is a private membership club that stimulates three key areas of members’ lives: well-being, work life and community. We thoughtfully design spaces and programming to nourish connection between our members and we have successfully implemented The Cover concept in Barcelona, Amsterdam and Vienna. The Cover at Sircle London will be located at the first floor and offers a gym, a work space and a social space including two different bars as well as exckusive benefits for our members at the restaurant and our hotels.

We are looking for a Membership Manager to start as soon as possible to manage The Cover in London, which is scheduled to open in Q2 2024.

About the role

The Membership Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of our new The Cover location, including, but not limited to:

• Leading the pre-opening phase strategically, supporting to build the committee and the local membership team
• Lead the founding membership program and identify local partners to ensure awareness and growth
• Work hand in hand with our local agency to identify and manage partners and collaboraters for The Cover.
• Driving membership acquisition, retention and the member and guest experience, including hosting member events appropriate for the local city and overseeing member communications within the club
  
• Guide the membership team which consists of an event manager and a member’s relations coordinator
• Build and maintain committee for the region; ensure committee members are reliable in generating member applications
• Maintain a constant presence in the club, acting as the face of the club to members and within the city
• Oversee all new member introductions to the club to ensure members understand benefits and opportunities and build reliable relationships with members
• Lead the creation and implementation of the member events program, guiding the events manager to ensure that events are well-planned and communicated
• Working beyond normal office hours, including nights and weekends, depending on business needs

The role reports directly to the Global Director of Culture and Membership and works closely with the Membership Managers of the other The Cover destinations as well as the Admin Manager. 

About you

Do you get inspired by guiding and directing new concepts within a quickly changing environment? Are you a social butterfly and know London’s many different faces and scenes inside out? If so, you could be our new Membership Manager at the soon to open Sircle London.

You will be part of our Marketing & Communication department, a group of 15 creative and supportive individuals largely based in Amsterdam but also in Barcelona, Berlin and Vienna. We work together to create new ambitious hospitality projects, acting quickly but keeping an eye on every detail. This role would help to create and guide our latest The Cover in London.

You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a general hands-on approach

• It’s in your nature to relate and communicate easily with different people from different walks of life
• You have in-depth knowledge of and great connections with multiple social communities in London and love all things culture in the city
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a respected leader
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively
• Previous experience working in a private members club an asset
