Sircle Collection is coming to London in 2024! Opening our first boutique hotel in the UK in Q3 2024, we are looking for an IT Assistant to join our preopening team and successfully bring our brand to life.

The hotel will be located next to Liverpool Street Station, tucked away in Devonshire Square a charming brick courtyard with 81 serene rooms, including 11 suites, The Cover our private members' club, and our Seven North restaurant a concept by award-winning Chef Eyal Shani. The newest location will be part of Sircle Collections’ vibrant group of one-of-a-kind hotels, restaurants and bars in Europe's most interesting neighbourhoods.

What you’ll be doing with us:

Join our preopening team to play a pivotal role in setting up our IT function within our new hotel and will be supported by our wider IT team within Sircle. As our IT Assistant, you'll be instrumental in setting up and maintaining smooth hardware, software, and network systems, including servers, workstations, POS systems, PMS, and other essential IT equipment. Providing timely technical assistance to both hotel team members and guests for hardware malfunctions, software glitches, and connectivity issues will be at the heart of your role.

As our IT Assistant, you'll take the lead in implementing robust cybersecurity measures to protect the hotel's valuable data and network infrastructure from cyber threats and breaches. It's also about fostering a culture of best practices and adherence to IT policies and procedures, ensuring that we meet industry standards and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, you'll warmly welcome new team members, guiding them through the onboarding process and providing essential details like usernames, passwords, and network access provisions.

Maintaining meticulous records of IT assets, configurations, and software licenses will be essential, as will assisting in the preparation and oversight of the IT department budget. Drawing on your expertise, you'll help evaluate and recommend advancements or replacements for IT systems and equipment to enhance performance, efficiency, and security.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience (2+ years) in IT support or systems administration, preferably in a hospitality environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is ideal
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware components, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Experience with hotel-specific systems such as PMS, POS, and guest Wi-Fi solutions is highly desirable.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and resolve technical issues promptly.

Given that we're in the preopening phase of our hotel, we need someone who can adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment. Ideally, the successful candidate will be joining us in July 2024.
