The housekeeping team is like the hotel versatile with all kind of personalities, but with one common belief in providing a heartfelt service. Our vision is to create a work environment that focuses on the development of the team and its individual goals.
As a Housekeeping management intern, you will assist the Housekeeping Manager and supervisors in guiding and inspiring the Housekeeping team. Together with the team you will be responsible for achieving the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hotel. It is a great internship position to develop and improve leadership skills.

About You

  • You are enthusiastic and confident in creating memorable guest experiences;
  • You are team player, hands-on and have a great sense of responsibility;
  • It’s in your nature to multitask, be proactive and be stress resistant;
  • You like to be part of a hardworking likeminded professional hospitality team.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the housekeeping team to deliver an unforgettable guest experiences;
  • Check if all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned in accordance with the hotel’s standards;
  • Process and handling to special guest requests, such as placing an extra bed or bringing extra towels, and answering guest questions if needed;
  • Maintain a good inventory of all Housekeeping supplies;
  • Collaborate with various departments such as the Front Office, Maintenance and F&B.

Job requirements

  • You are currently a student enrolled in a relevant bachelor hospitality/ tourism study;
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English; both oral and written.
  • Flexibility in working morning/ evening and in the weekends;
  • You are available as of January 2022 for a period of 6 months.
