Job description

Sircle Collection is coming to London in 2024, opening our first boutique hotel in the UK! We are looking for a Front Office Manager to join our preopening team and successfully bring our brand to life.

Set to open in Summer 2024, the hotel will be located in Devonshire Square and will include 81 guest rooms, a signature restaurant, The Cover - our private members club and gym facilities. The newest location will be part of Sircle Collections’ vibrant group of one-of-a-kind hotels, restaurants and bars in Europe's most interesting neighbourhoods.

As our Front Office Manager, you’ll be joining our team to nurture and grow this unique property. In this role, you’ll be responsible for fulfilling our brand promise and embodying our brand values by providing heartfelt service, leading with creativity and ambition, as well as creating surprising experiences for our teams members, and guests every step of the way.

What you’ll be doing with us:

As our Front Office Manager you will build, lead and motivate the front office team to deliver exceptional heartfelt service and create memorable guest experiences. You will be responsible to recruit for your team, oversee the pre-opening preparations and training for the front office team, ensuring to that they are well-prepared to provide top-notch service from day one.

Reporting into our Hotel Operations Manager, you will implement and maintain front office policies, procedures, and standards to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Together, you will develop and maintain front office budgets and help the team deliver on various targets including, upselling, guest satisfaction and financial targets.

Within your role, you will work closely with other hotel departments such as Housekeeping, Security and Engineering to ensure seamless communication and collaboration for a successful pre-opening and beyond. In order to be successful within your role, it is key for you to stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to continually improve the front office department's operations.

Job requirements

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality with proven experience as an Assistant or Front Office Manager or in a similar hotel. In order to be successful within the role, we seek an individual with exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to set up and lead the Front Office team to success.

Having knowledge of our local area, London’s Square Mile, Liverpool Street and Shoreditch is a plus. As we are currently in our hotel’s preopening phase, the successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic preopening environment. The successful candidate will be looking at an April/ May 2024 starting date.
