To keep breaking records and building strong relationships, we are looking for your expertise to make this happen! In the role of Sales Intern, you will be responsible for the support of the Sales department in their daily activities. You will work in our Headquarters in the city centre of Amsterdam together with your Sales colleagues. In this role you will report directly to the Regional Director of Sales

This is what you're going to do

• Together with your colleagues,you are responsible for retaining and increasing the revenue by recruiting and maintaining new and existing clients
• Managing existing accounts (f.e. planning agenda, updating presentations, connectivity and parity issues, promotions, contracts, parity, etc.)
• Qualifying potential for new accounts
• Coordinating special deals with leisure partners (reviewing contracts, set up on systems, etc.);
• Update databases and reports and use reporting systems to monitor production, evaluating trends, new markets and business opportunities to increase the leisure business
• Coordinate assigned sales activities such as sales meetings, sales trips and site inspections
• Prepare and send communication to clients, tour operators and travel agencies (contracted rates, offers, promotions) on a regular basis

This is why you are the best candidate

To succeed in this role, we believe you should follow a Bachelor degree preferably in Hotel management. You have excellent command of English in word and writing. You are available as of September 2023 for a minimum period of six months. It goes without saying that you have an affinity with hospitality, you are a natural and creative professional with good computer skills and know how to connect with different people and cultures. You are not afraid to make mistakes and would like to work in a young, ambitious and dynamic team.

Compensations

• The internship compensation is € 525 gross per month based on a fulltime internship.
• We offer a compensation in your housing costs of € 80 gross (fulltime) in case you have to move to Amsterdam for your internship.
