Why this vacancy is available

We are looking for creativity in our kitchen at Park Centraal The Hague. Do you enjoy using your own creations and preparing different dishes for our guests? We are looking for a driven colleague for our kitchen team. Would you like to gain knowledge and experience during breakfast, dinners and events? Then we are looking for you!

This is what you're going to do 

  • You will be responsible for breakfast, dinners and events;
  • Providing lunch, breaks and dinners for our meeting rooms;
  • Contributing to new recipes and ideas;
  • Managing incoming orders;
  • Monitoring inventory according to the FIFO method and HACCP.

Job requirements

Why you are the best candidate

To succeed in this role, you will have at least one year as a Food & Beverage professional or in a similar role. You are a hands-on professional and can ensure proper work standards, productivity and practices. You get your team going and make them early birds every morning. It goes without saying that you are a natural leader with good communication skills and know how to connect with different people and cultures. You are able to establish clear procedures and able to operate independently and solve problems creatively. You are a real team player and you always go for the best result for yourself and your colleagues.

Wow, you made it all the way to the bottom of the job description! My name is Morad, the F&B Manager of this historic hotel. I have been working in hospitality and catering for over 20 years. During these years, I have provided many guests with an enjoyable and culinary day or evening. Together with my colleagues from the F&B team, we serve breakfast every day in our cosy breakfast room, we have meetings and event in our historic meeting rooms and we also organise weddings in our colourful garden!
