The finance department is the heart of our organization. It is located at our Headquarters in the center of Amsterdam. The team consists of 50 specialists, spread over HQ and regional offices in Europe. As our Business Controller, you will be working with a team of Financial Controllers and our Regional Director of Finance. You will ensure the production of timely and accurate monthly/quarterly financial report and monitoring the local team and their outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidation process
    • Review local GAAP and converted it to IFRS
    • Preparation of the IFRS package reporting
    • Providing support to controllers
    • Communicate with local auditors and lead the Inter-Group audit
    • Monitoring accruals, tax provisions and DTL
  • Corporate matters
    • Reviewing financial statements and Management reports
    • Tax submissions
    • Chamber of commerce submissions
    • Provide relevant and timely analysis/information to Management
    • Legal assistance
  • Statuary audits; prepare financial statements and liaising with company auditors for the completion of the audit
  • Implement, design & monitor internal control.

Requisitos del trabajo

  • HBO graduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance or related field
  • Must be qualified (ACA or ACCA or CPA)
  • Very good knowledge of accounting standards (NL GAAP & IFRS) and preparation of financial statements
  • Proven experience in Dutch Taxation and VAT
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in similar position in Real-estate company (not including Big 4 audit firm)
  • Must fluent in Dutch and English
  • Knowledge of SAP will be considered a strong advantage
