There are five hotels in the region, four restaurants and the Regional Office. There is a centrally supporting recruitment team in Amsterdam. We work with an external payroll company. Our interaction with each other is characterised by personal attention and scale up mentality, to use our expertise to help each other reach our common goals, to have the best candidate/employee journey and high candidate/employee engagement.

About you

  • You have experience in HR and a flexible approach in personnel matters
  • You shine with communication and interpersonal skills and have an affinity for the hospitality industry
  • You are determined, pragmatic and have an eye for detail


  • Advising managers on various personnel law issues and Kurzarbeit work regulations
  • Supporting managers on issues related to labor laws and regulations, residence and work permits, sick leave, and other employee issues
  • Support in monthly Kurzarbeit accounting
  • preparation of monthly personnel cost forecast
  • Preparatory payroll accounting
  • Execution of onboarding and offboarding processes and the preparation of contracts
  • Publishing job advertisements, conducting interviews, active recruiting via LinkedIn

    Job requirements

    • 2-3 years of HR experience - preferably in the hospitality or a lifestyle services based industry within a global company.
    • Experience in dealing with the current Corona situation and Kurzarbeit
    • Knowledge of German labor law
    • You are fluent in German and English and live in Berlin
