For Max Brown Midtown in the beautiful heart of Düsseldorf, we are currently on the hunt for a "Operations Manager".


As Operations Manager your main focus is on the smooth operation of the hotel, keeping an eye on the laws and the Max Brown standards. You will proactively manage and supervise the employees to maximize their performances, profitability, continued development of customer service and quality standards. Furthermore you will be expected to translate the regional business strategy into operational plans, budgets and goals, to take leadership and to be commercially focused. You will live, communicate and monitor the Max Brown values and you are the brand ambassador and example to the hotel staff. You will report to the Regional Operations Manager (ROM) in Germany.

Job requirements

  • You ideally have Bachelors Degree in Business or Hospitality Management
  • You have previous experience in a similar role in management in the hotel industry and in a hotel of a similar size.
  • You bring along know-how in Rooms Division but you also know how to run a Food & Beverage operation.
  • You love to take initiative and raise service to the next level.
  • You know how to make our guests part of our urban community including social media.
  • You enjoy being an inspirational leader with the ability to motivate and train your employees, ensuring a culture of service excellence.
  • You have eagle eyes that can see possible problems before they escalate and can help de-fuse them as soon as possible.
  • You have an eye for detail & style, aiming for highest quality.
  • You are always available to work operationally.
  • You are keen on optimizing up-and cross selling activities and pay close attention to cost control.
  • You make sure everything runs smoothly in people operations i.e. planning and HR related task.
