at Max Brown Hotels in Amsterdam!



As Management Trainee, you will be the right hand of our Cluster manager of Max Brown Canal District and Max Brown Museum Square. You will be part of both our two Max Brown hotel teams in Amsterdam. Each hotel consist of three departments; bar & desk, housekeeping and maintenance. You will be the eyes and ears in the properties and responsible for the smooth operation of the hotels.


Our teams want to create a cozy and charming homebased for all ambassadors, guests & friends. We aim to help each other within the teams and also support our locals to maximize our common goal to spread the joy of cosy travelling to as many people as possible.


About You

  • You are enthusiastic and creative in creating memorable guest and employee experiences;
  • It’s in your nature to be flexible, proactive and be stress resistant;
  • You like to be part of a hardworking likeminded professional hospitality team;
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English; both oral and written.

Responsibilities

  •  You will be hands on in supporting the team with various tasks among which assisting with projects, administrative tasks, duty management;
  • Assisting managers in writing manuals/ SOP’s;
  • The highly-set standards of Max Brown service are of the utmost importance and will be your focus;
  • You will cooperate and encourage seamless working relationships with all departments.

Job requirements

  •  Last year student of a relevant HBO hospitality or tourism related study;
  • Flexibility in working morning/ evening and weekend if necessary;
  • You are available as of May/ June/ July 2022 for a minimum period of six months;
