This also makes your work very diverse and exciting. On any given day you are juggling between the Front Desk, the breakfast, a cocktail shaker or espresso machine.

Does it sound a bit daunting? Don't worry, we've got you! It's up to us to make sure you have those tools and the knowledge to use them. That is why we make sure you get the right training. Not just at the start, but throughout your time with us. It is then up to you to use this to make genuine connections with your guests.

What are our lovely guests looking for? Well, they are here to enjoy the wonderful city of Amsterdam to the fullest, and they want to use our hotel as a base to do that. Of course that means seeing the city's highlights during the day, to then spend the night in a super comfy bed. But aren't the best memories you have also the most unexpected ones? We want that for our guests too! So, we make sure to surprise them where we can. With the ins and outs of the city, those only the locals know. Along with the special moments we can create during their stay. Creativity is key here, and you can let yours run free. We call them PACCs and they are key to making our guests' stay memorable (we will explain exactly what those are when we meet!).

What will you be doing?

  • Being a host at the front desk where you check guests in and out, take reservations and make sure they are taken care of during their stay;
  • Making sure our guests are well fed and never parched by handling the breakfast, coffees behind the bar as well as cocktails and other drinks;
  • Sharing the ins and outs of what the city has to offer;
  • Working closely with your Housekeeping and Maintenance colleagues.

Job requirements

  • MBO diploma or Bachelor degree, preferably MHS/HHS or tourism education;
  • Minimum one year of relevant work experience in a Front Office role (internship including);
  • Flexibility in working morning, evening and night shifts and weekends.
